Wal-Kat Equipment is a well-established sales & service material handling company, serving the lower Okanagan Valley. We are seeking a highly self-motivated individual for an office administrator/ bookkeeper, to help manage the daily operations.
This position shall comprise of:
. Keep financial records and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
. Complete and submit tax remittance forms and other government documents
. Organize and maintain an office as directed
. Able to delegate service call jobs to technicians
. Parts ordering as required
. Other duties as assigned

. Excellent written, verbal and e-mail communication skills
. Strong computer skills
. Thorough understanding of Quick Books accounting program
. College program in accounting or course in accounting or bookkeeping
Compensation for this position:
. Hourly remuneration based on experience
. Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, no weekends or Stat Holidays
. Medical & Dental extended benefit package after qualifying period
