Pillar5 Pharma Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Finance Department as a Payroll and Accounting Administrator. This position is a hybrid position. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll and maintaining financial records.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process payroll for all employees, including calculating wages, deductions, benefits entitlements, and overtime.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and employee information.
- Provide information and answer employee inquiries about payroll related matters.
- Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and local payroll regulations.
- Assist with payroll tax filings and reporting.
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
- Support the Finance team with various accounting tasks as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in payroll administration and/or accounting.
- Degree in business administration, finance, or accounting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and regulations.
- Proficiency in using ADP payroll software and MS Office.
- Experience working with SAP system is considered an asset.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
