We are looking to fill the position for a full time bookkeeper on behalf of our client situated in Beaverlodge.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate is accountable for but not limited to:
- Assisting with accounting activities pertaining to all aspects of A/P, A/R, and Payroll.
Month/Year End procedures
- Preparing reports, updating, and retrieving financial data
- Maintaining filing and record systems
- Processing invoices and supporting documents
- Performing accounts receivable calls and answering customer inquiries
- Ensuring administrative and accounting compliance with company policies and standards
- Coordinating duties with other members of the accounting department as needed
Qualifications:
- Some post-secondary education or technical training in accounting or related field
- 2+ years of office admin or accounting experience
- Proficiency/experience with Sage accounting software
- Must be skilled with MS Office, especially Excel and Outlook
- Familiarity with general office equipment, internet
