Duties:
- Perform general administrative tasks, including answering phone calls (and taking detailed messages), responding to emails, data entry, filing etc.
- Daily use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Completing courier (e.g, UPS/Purolator) paperwork/labels
- Order Entry
- Inventory checks i.e. making sure inventory levels are maintained and discrepancies are identified and escalated
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks
- Administration of purchase orders
- Administration of AR/AP
- Various clerical tasks as needed
You must be capable of running an office.
Experience:
- Previous experience in an administrative role is required
- Familiarity with clerical procedures and office management systems
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office; specifically: Outlook, Excel, and Word. A competency test will be given.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
