Bilingual Accounts Receivable Clerk
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Location: Remote
9:00am-5:00pm EST (Monday - Friday), 40 hours/week
Compensation: $18.20 CAD/hour
Insight Pest Solutions is currently looking for an Bilingual Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team! We are searching for driven and organized individuals to join our accounts receivable department to help generate, process, and record payments as well as perform account reconciliations in an accurate and timely manner. In this role, individuals will have the opportunity to create an ongoing impact on company-wide financial transactions and maintain long-term relationships with our valued clients.
Position Summary - Responsibilities:
- Prepares, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions
- Creates invoices according to company practices; submits invoices to customers
- Maintains and updates customer files, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attentions
- Maintaining a positive and professional attitude towards customers and colleagues
- Creates reports regarding the current status of customer accounts as requested
- Researches customer discrepancies and past-due amounts with the assistance of the Collections Manager and other staff
- Works with office software, such as Workwave and Gmail
- Collaborates with the Collections Manager to reconcile accounts receivable on a periodic (at least bimonthly) basis
- Managing an effective remote work environment to ensure all occupational duties are completed
- Maintaining the billing system
- Copies, files, and retrieves materials for accounts receivable as needed
- Relays changes of information to appropriate employees
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications - What will make you successful:
- 1+ years of experience working in accounts receivable
- Self-motivated individuals who are able to work with little supervision
- Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Empathetic and professional towards customers
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
- Possesses an eagerness to learn and work in a team setting
- Experience working in an office setting or an accounting background is considered an asset but not required, as training will be provided.
- Access to a personal laptop and/or computer
- Bilingualism (French and English : oral and written) is required
