We are looking for a Accounting Clerk with a good understanding of the dealership accounting issues.
- Assist with posting New and Pre-Owned vehicle deals
- Monthly reconciliation of inventory schedules, F&I schedules, and receivables
- Payout floor plan vehicles in a timely manner while reviewing accounts to ensure all required units are paid per bank requirements
- Post dealer trade deals and journal entries
- Post invoices from manufacturer
- Follow up with incentive receivables
- On demand cheques (i.e. lien payouts, dealer trades, etc.)
- Floor plan reconciliations
- Coordinate month end close with sales coordinator to ensure deals are received and posted within the month end cut-off
- Assist with internal leases and finance deals
- PBS experience will be an asset but not mandatory.
Required skills and experience:
- Experience with accounting – tracking invoices for payment/ AP, AR. Posting Deals
- A Good Team player
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills, multi-tasking and time management abilities
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Experience working in a dealership is an asset.
