Integrity Oil and Gas is a small junior production company with big growth plans and a bright future. Applicant must take responsibility for the accounting department and work with all the many aspects of our industry.
- Full cycle accounting Located in Lloydminster, Alberta.
Must live in Lloydminster and must have experience with Pandell Software system
- Accounts Payable: enter, filing, review, address and resolve any issues with vendors, reconciliation of accounts, payment of invoices. All invoices for operating and G&A expenses
- Accounts Receivable: reconcile outstanding accounts, chase down vendors of no payments
- GST/PST filings, quarterly or annual basis, ensure payment is made by required date
- All WCB filings for Alberta and Saskatchewan
- Review, booking and payment of monthly FH royalties, review includes comparing calculation versus land records. Answering and resolving all queries from vendors receiving royalties from Edge. There are two properties that need to be calculated manually each month as the revenue is received via a JIB
- Review and book Alberta and Saskatchewan Crown Royalties, also includes review and booking of GCA with Alberta Crown Royalties, completing AC5 filing
- Complete monthly analysis of lease operations statements (generated from Pandell JV5)
- Maintain all GL accounts by completing journal entries, accruals and analytical reviews
- Review intercompany accounts and ensure they balance out
- Gather information for annual filing of T4’s, complete the T4 reports and summary, send out the T4’s and file with CRA T4 Summary with appropriate backup
- Complete year end working papers for the external accountant for auditor purposes or tax returns
- Complete all year end functions, booking any journal entries from auditors, closing year end within JV5
- Cash management duties: complete coding of bank deposits, EFT’s received, forecast cash flow, complete AP payment run via cheques or EFT’s, complete bank reconciliation
- Gather backup and code credit card statements
- Maintain AFEs, create AFE within Pandell software, ensure correct WIO% are used, enter in budget for operated and non-operated AFE’s. For non-operated AFE’s ensure that Edge has reviewed and approved AFE before Edge AFE is created. Will need to ensure AFE invoices are coded properly, review AFE’s to determine if they are overspent, chase down reasons for overspent AFE’s and raise supplemented AFE
- Maintain all master files within JV5, cost centers, major and minor accounts, vendors (Business Associates), AFE types, DOI’s, overhead rates
- Update allocation splits monthly that are used in the month end process.
- Ad hoc monthly reports as per management request
- Complete interim and final statement of adjustments for all sales/acquisitions and book the journal entries.
- Complete month end process: book overhead on operating and capital cost centers/AFE’s, run allocation process, ensure all entries are booked and cleared, run the process to create outbound JIB’s, review JIB’s for accuracy and book journal entries on any errors discovered during review process
- Once you are satisfied with the JIB’s run the process to create the JIB and then upload all JIBs, operating and capital, into Energylink for release.
- Book and pay surface and mineral lease rentals, report is received from land each month
- Respond and resolve outstanding queries from partners receiving Edge’s JIBs
- Review and book inbound JIBs, resolve disputes and maintain payment of JIBs
- Review and book all expense reports, ensuring backup has been received and process reports for payments
- Review and book monthly revenue, ensure PA (production accountant) is kept up to date of happenings within the company and send revenue statements to her
