Job description – Accounts Payable Clerk
Location: Burlington, Ontario, Canada (On-site)

The Role
This position will not only provide exposure and hands-on responsibilities within the finance team, but you’ll also gain valuable insight on business operations while working in a stimulating and supportive environment.
Your work will vary from week to week, and will include a variety of finance tasks including:
- Answer customer and vendor inquires and calls for follow up
- Work with new clients and vendors to accurately onboard them as a client
- Create, issue, and follow up directly on invoices
- Administer full cycle accounts receivable and payable
- Process and audit banking
- Store, update, retrieve and analyze financial data including balance sheet analysis
- Process payments (i.e. scan cheques, enter appropriate records)
- Conduct audits including year-end, sub-ledger, and general ledger reconciliations
- Serve as a support/back up for all things accounting and administrative as requested
Depending on the time of the year, you may be doing a variety of tasks. Flexibility and a knack for multitasking are critical to the success of this position.
Skills & Experience Required
- Experience using QuickBooks.
- Speak read and write English fluently
- Highly professional, polite, and polished with a positive attitude
- 2 years accounting related experience within a business environment
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize & accomplish tasks in a timely fashion
- Strong written communication skills
