Borall Fence & Guide Rail Ltd. is currently seeking a full-time Office Coordinator.
Borall Fence & Guide Rail Contractors Ltd. is a locally owned and operated with 30+ years of serving Southern, Central and Northern Ontario with a strong track record of repeat business from our dedication to excellence. Specializing in highway guide rail and various fencing services ranging from new installations, repairs, as well as planned maintenance.
The ideal candidate must have knowledge of highway construction, municipal, commercial, and other related industries. Accurately interpret various contract documents, drawings, and specifications. Provide daily support to the field crews, demonstrating strong teamwork, and good communication skills. Deliver, monitor, and maintain project reporting and forecasting to the management team. The ability to be resourceful and proactive when situations arise.
Responsibilities:
· Provide main support to company project manager, supervisors, and employees.
· Responsible for requesting, monitoring, and issuing infrastructure locates.
· Assist with providing accounts payable & receivable supports to the controller.
· Provide back-up payroll support, timecard entry to the controller.
· Assist with preparation of various quotes, contract documents & other field job documentation.
· Answer telephone calls, respond to customer inquiries as front-line company contact.
· Assist with all other various business-related tasks, as required.
Requirements:
· Excellent knowledge of the construction industry.
· Strong computer skills – Email, Excel, other Microsoft applications, Sage Accounting.
· Good understanding of contract change-orders, & other various contract documents. (willingness to learn)
· Facilitate utility locate processes & assist as required. (willingness to learn)
· Knowledge of accounting principles, accounts payable / accounts receivable processes.
· Ability to work with comprehensive scheduling, in a fast-paced work environment & meet demanding deadlines.
· Strong communication & customer service skills.
· Ability to multitask, prioritize, & manage time effectively.
· Valid Driver’s G class Licence & ability to travel as required.
