Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles and experience with accounting software, such as Sage or QuickBooks.
You are independent, reliable with a great level of responsibility and initiative. You love working in teams and take ownership of your task. You are flexible relative to the tasks assigned to you or taken on voluntarily. You are friendly, a real team-player and love challenges and tight deadlines. You are professional, courteous, and proactive.
You have good knowledge of Sage, MS Office, Excel and other accounting software.

We are growing at an unprecedented rate and our team culture is collaborative, dynamic, respectful and flexible. Our administrative and accounting systems are an ongoing work-in-progress requiring input and initiatives from those in charge, hence we are looking for a bookkeeping professional who is resourceful, independent, trustworthy and self-reliant.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain financial records
-Digitalize paper receipts, invoices and other financial documents
- Prepare and process invoices, bills, and payments
- Perform account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or errors
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software, particularly Sage and/or QuickBooks
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Solid understanding of account reconciliation processes
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Pay: $22,000.00-$25,000.00 per year
