Boutique family-owned construction building and supply company requires a reliable and organized Senior Office Administrator. Preference will be given to candidates who have knowledge and or experience in the construction industry, but it is not a requirement.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
- assist Manager with daily office procurements
- order parts, materials and supplies
- provide quotes & writing invoices
- schedule delivery of materials to job sites
- attend to incoming phone calls
- filing & general office admin
- data entry & inventory control
- attend to walk-in customers
- organize yard staff and deliveries
The candidate MUST:
- multi-task well
- have the ability to prioritize based on the employers needs
- have good communication skills
- have good work ethics
- be able to take initiative and work independently
- be discreet & understand confidentiality
- have own transportation
- have 2+ years in a similar role
- be self-motivated & a "problem-solver"
- have good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word
- be organized in order to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
