The Position: As our Administrative Accountant you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all aspects of accounts for our organization and select clients. Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of financial activities, from maintaining accurate and up-to-date ledgers to ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Handle accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and reconciliations.
- Manage the financial affairs of our clients, ensuring meticulous bookkeeping and financial reporting.
- Keep relevant with financial regulations and ensure that all financial activities, both internal and client-related, adhere to legal and industry standards.
- Assist in the preparation and management of budgets, providing valuable insights for financial planning.
- Generate regular financial reports, both internally and for clients, offering clear insights into financial health.
- Work with internal teams to provide financial guidance and contribute to strategic financial decision-making.
Skills and Experience:
- Finance or accounting post-secondary education required
- Proven experience in accounting and financial management roles.
- Proficient in QBO, Excel, and any other Microsoft Office Software
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills, project management ability, and capable of meeting deadlines
- Excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail when dealing with large datasets
- Ability to investigate and problem solve independently
