Responsibilities:
-Manager the Property Management client accounts
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely payment and collection of invoices
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in Yardi
- Assist with the preparation of audit schedules and support auditors during annual audits
Ideal Requirements:
- Yardi experience an important asset
- Bookkeeping Certificate as a minimum
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Accountant in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software ie Quickbooks
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines
- Clear and strong communications skills both written and oral are necessary
