What you will do:
● Gathering and entering clients’ payroll data on a daily basis;
● Emailing clients as required to obtain payroll data and approvals;
● Returning phone calls and emails from clients promptly;
● Inputting new hires, terminations, time sheets, and all adjustments to employee/payroll data ;
● Auditing and advising clients to ensure legislative compliance;
● Understanding your clients’ reporting requirements and looking for ways to add value;
● Handling third-party inquiries (i.e. Service Canada, CRA, Employment Verifications);
● Completing ROEs and T4s;
● Responding to employee payroll-related questions;
● Processing all year-end tax forms and reconciliations;
● Assisting in the continuous improvement of the service we provide;
● Attend regular internal training and workshops to maintain and improve your payroll knowledge.
Required Qualifications:
- PCP designation or are a PCP Candidate;
- Previous payroll and/or accounting experience;
- Multi-provincial and/or managed payroll experience considered an asset
Compensation & Additional Benefits:
● $45 000 to $55 000 CAD/year, depending on experience
