Payroll Coordinator
Do you hold experience within payroll processing? Our partnered client is actively seeking a Payroll Coordinator working closely with the HR Manager to assure accurate process of payroll utilizing Ceridian Dayforce. This is a permanent hybrid opportunity located in Oakville. Confident in your ability to collaborate and solve problems? Responsibilities:
- Processing full cycle payroll using Ceridian Dayforce software
- Prior experience processing hourly, salaried and seasonal payroll
- Onboarding and offboarding of employees for payroll
- Handle processing of remittances, benefits, ROE’s, garnishments for employees pay
- Keeping an up-to-date employee file for payroll
- Assist with new hire orientation including collection of onboarding documents for Payroll
- Handling questions from internal employees regarding pay and benefits inquiries
- Offer recommendations to solve employee concerns
- Assure compliance to internal policies
- Building and implementation of new policies with management
- Maintaining electronic filing system & personnel documents
Required Skills:
- 1-3 years experience within a full cycle payroll role
- Processing payroll utilizing Ceridian Dayforce software is required
- Ability to manage internal employee requests regarding payroll
- Understanding of Canada Payroll rules regulations
- University or College Education, preferably within an Finance focused course
- PCP Designation is an added bonus
- Strong understanding of Ontario payroll laws and best practices
- Ability to multi-task and work closely with management when required
- Strong communication skills to roll out new processes when required
- Ability to manage projects and timelines
