Braden Equities Inc. is a professional Property Management Company who is looking for an individual to fill a position as Head Accountant in our Accounting Department. This is a full-time position from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday.
The successful individual will have the following skills:
- 3-5 years’ worth of accounting experience, or a university degree, in accounting, including:
o Bookkeeping with Sage Simply Accounting, QuickBooks, etc.
o Payroll and related government remittances
o GST remittances
o Bank reconciliations
o Accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Experience working with Property Management specific software (Spectra, Yardi)
- Ability to manage the Accounting Department, its duties, deadlines and staff
- Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Have great organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines
- Have a friendly professional attitude and be a team player
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Type minimum of 50 wpm
- Be fluent in English
- Be bondable and able to provide a basic security clearance
