Purpose:
Under the direction of the Executive Assistant, the Administrative Assistant role supports the goals and objectives of the Office of the Dean and the Officer of the Executive Officer. The role will provide confidential administrative support to the Dean, Executive Officer, Associate Dean's, and Schulich Leadership team as well as provide advanced reception, administrative and clerical support for the general operation of the Office of the Dean and Office of the Executive Officer.
Education:
College Diploma in a related field such as Office Administration or an equivalent of 2 years recent experience (defined as within the last three years) working at York University and performing the same or similar tasks. This education equivalency is in addition to the experiential requirements outlined below.
Experience:
Two (2) years' recent related experience in an administrative role including providing front line support within a Dean/Associate Dean or Executive level office and calendar management to senior-level administrators. Experience dealing with corporate, business and government entities, and coordinating multiple activities in a fast-paced environment including program/event coordination in an academic environment is required.
Skills:
