Overview:
We are a fast growing group of medical practises with locations across Canada. We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic team-player to join our team as an Accounting Specialist. This role will take ownership of the Accounts Payable function as well as supporting other initiatives and processes within the department.
Role Objectives:
- Ensuring vendor transactions are recorded accurately and efficiently
- Maintaining vendor Information to facilitate various reporting requirements
- Ownership of Aged AP reporting for all entities, including monthly reconciliations and weekly payment runs
- Supporting the implementation and oversight of a purchase order process, Including related software
- Generating and Interpreting reporting to support various financial analyses
- Ensuring accurate completion of various monthly account reconciliations
- Liaising with Operations and other teams within the organization on the status of vendors and transactions
- Supporting various Initiatives to either improve efficiency of or automate various components of the finance function
- Opportunity to contribute to various data tracking and reporting initiatives
- Contributing to a team-first environment by supporting fellow team members and contributing to a positive work environment
- Assisting with audit requests from various bodies
- Occasional travel may be required between clinics
- Other duties as required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
