The Accounts Payable/Payroll Clerk will take full responsibility for processing all aspects of accounts payable and assist with payroll. Based in Burnaby and reporting to the Sr. Accountant, you will work with team members to ensure complete and accurate entry for all AP records for multiple jobs. You provide critical support for the office team and maintain document control.
Responsibilities:
· Matching and checking packing slips and PO to AP invoices
· Timely and accurate data entry of AP invoices
· Resolving AP discrepancies
· Assist with entry of timesheets for payroll
· Answers the phone and directs calls according to priority and subject matter
· Prepares purchase requisitions for approval and assists with procurement
· Oversees the management of the office and maintains supplies
· Acts as the primary point of contact for clients and customers
· Capacity to work under pressure
· May perform other related duties as required
Qualifications
· 3+ years of office work experience
· Experience with accounting software products
· Strong computer background including experience with MS Project, Word and Excel
· Strong communication skills, confident interacting with key contacts in verbal, written and electronic form
· Knowledge of general office processes
