Permanent Part Time - Accounts Payable & Payroll, Bookkeeper Position
This position is for busy Mini Storage and Car Wash Facilities located throughout the Lower Mainland. Accounting offices are located in the Vancouver Facility.
This position will work closely with the Senior Bookkeeper and will be for Mondays & Wednesdays 9:00am – 5:30pm. Starting wage up to $35.00 per hour depending on experience. This position is on-site, no remote work.
Accounts Payable will be responsible for effectively and efficiently ensuring accurate and timely invoice processing and payments as well as but not limited to:
· Posting expenses from the credit card statements
· Processing & Entering invoices in the accounting system (Sage)
· Processing cheque runs and Electronic payments
· Investigating invoice discrepancies and communicating with vendors to keep all accounts up to date
· Handling vendor and internal queries
· Filing of invoices/supporting documents
· Ensuring all payments are timed to avoid any late fees or penalties
Payroll will be responsible for but not limited to:
· Working with the Payroll Provider system
· Issuing & verifying the bi-weekly payroll
· Updating payroll information for existing, new and terminated employees
Requirements
· Intermediate to advance skills in Sage 50, Excel and MS Office/Office 365
· Experience working with a Payroll Provider would be an asset
· Effective prioritization of daily tasks and rigorous attention to detail
· Excellent organization and time management skills

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 17 – 20 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- Bookkeeping: 1 year (Preferred)
