Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our team. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, including payroll, accounts payable and receivable, account reconciliation, and analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting software such as QuickBooks.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the company's financial operations, including payroll, accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions
- Perform account reconciliations and analysis to ensure the integrity of financial data
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management review
- Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- CPA designation preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, and Sage
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
