We’re searching for a skilled bookekeeper to join our team as an Accounts Receivable Specialist to help create, process, track, and record payments accurately, efficiently, and timely. The accounts receivable specialist will have both a day-to-day and ongoing impact on financial transactions, keeping us on track, on time, and on good terms with our valued clients in a service based industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage accounting operations, including invoicing and collections.
- Process and Monthly/Bi-weekly invoices for all clients for over 100 customers
- Data entry for new customers and vendors
- Process bill payments for all venders and suppliers.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Work closely with Financial Controller, Business Strategist and Chief Operating Officer.
- QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in the building services industry (I.E Property Managment, Cleaning, Security)
- English as a primary language
- Graduated from an accredited University with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Proven 5+ years experience working in full-cycle accounting & finance preferably within the building services industy and/or a company with an entrepreneurial organization.
- Experience with general ledger functions as well as month-end & year-end processes.
- Advanced accounting software skills (i.e. QuickBooks).
- Advanced skills with MS Excel, MS Access (i.e. Pivot Tables, Tables, Formula Writing & Data Mining).
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
- Customer service oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent administrative skills (i.e. organized, orderly and systematic).
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy is mandatory.
- Strong listening skills and abilities to critically analyze and problem solve reported issues.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines.
- Effective written and oral communication.
- Ability to work effectively both independently as well as within a team.
