What will you be doing at Q-Air?
· Provide support in various areas of human resources, including employee relations, onboarding of new employees
· Coordinate and conduct new employee orientations and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
· Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
· Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
· Support HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Supports H&S and operational leaders on non-occupational, disability or medical leaves including regular follow-up to the employee and providing updates to supervisors of return to work.
- Act as liaison for employee benefits, payroll inquiries and preparation of job reference letters, ensuring timely follow up.
- Collection of all hours for payroll – sent to outsourced payroll company weekly
· Provide administrative support as required

What Will You Need to Become Part of the Q-Air Team?
Preferred qualification and education
· Diploma or Certificate in Human Resource Management or equivalent experience in Human Resources, holding a CHRP designation a strong asset.
· 2–3+ years’ experience in an HR generalist role.
· Strong (verbal and written) communication skills with an ability to build relationships.
· High degree of professionalism
· Good time-management skills with a problem-solving attitude.
Hours – 25 to 30 hours per week, leading to full time
