We are a Real Estate-Property Management company who is looking for a loyal and hardworking individual to fill its full time and permanent Office Administrator/ Bookkeeper role at our head office in North York. Responsibilities:
The chosen candidate will be responsible for the following:
· General office and accounting functions
· Data base entry for recordkeeping
· Assist with Accounting Month- End Close and Year End Close functions
· Enter year end adjusting journal entries as necessary into accounting systems
· Maintaining filing and record systems
· Preparing bank deposits
· Following up with tenants for lease and account inquiries on a daily basis
· Preparing and sending out weekly management reports
· Understanding how to read contracts
· Writing letters and notices
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of Accounting /GL experience
- Experience in property management, or real estate is not necessary but an asset
- Experience with Yardi software program is not necessary but an asset
- A college degree, or diploma in office administration
- Very knowledgeable with MS Excel
- Excellent English skills (verbal and written communication)
