Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper
Accounting firm and bookkeeping business requires a full time Administrative Assistant.
Owners require an energetic, detail oriented individual to assist with the administrative tasks within the office. Basically, we are looking for someone who can be “our right arm”.
Responsibilities include:
- controlling the flow of paperwork throughout the office
- assist the owners with various administrative tasks
- greeting clients in a professional manner
- answering and directing phone calls
- maintaining accurate records of incoming paperwork
- filing, copying and organizing confidential paperwork
- bookkeeping using QuickBooks Desktop
- working closely with others
The successful candidate will:
- be a highly organized individual with a professional and courteous manner
- be a professional who displays honesty, integrity and confidentiality
- possess great communication skills
- have a proficiency in MS Office applications
- have excellent knowledge of business tax accounts (payroll, GST and corporate tax)
- understand personal tax preparation and filing
- be detail oriented and highly organized
- possess the ability to confidently communicate with clients
- be able to think ahead (which would greatly assist the owners)
