Mississauga manufacturer has an immediate need for an experienced Payroll and Benefits Administrator responsible for the accurate and timely completion of both salary and hourly payroll. across multiple sites.
Responsibilities:
- Process bi-weekly salary payroll
- Investigate and follow up on any payroll discrepancies and issues in a timely manner
- Process hourly payroll
- Reconcile, prepare, audit and submit all reports
- Perform and coordinate all year-end requirements/reconciliations including T4, WSIB, etc.
- Update and maintain Payroll/HRIS system
- Process timely pension remittances to pension plans
- Administer STD and LTD benefit programs in accordance with established guidelines
- Provide employees with employment letters and other employee verifications as requested
- Generate monthly scheduled and ad-hoc reports in the payroll system
Requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience as a Payroll and Benefits
- Manufacturing industry experience required
- Experience with ADP WorkForce Now
- Experience partnering with HR a plus
- Union payroll experience
- CPA/PCP designation required
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong PC skills (Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
