We are seeking an Accountant to join our Libratel Accounting team.
Responsibilities
Perform routine clerical accounting duties within a fast-paced finance
department, while adhering to established accounting standards.
Verify and post details of business transactions, such as funds received and
disbursed, and total accounts to ledgers and database.
Process and manage accounts payable and receivable.
Manage collection from the customers.
Process journal entries and reconcile bank statements in comparison to the
general ledger.
Execute accurate reporting, filing, and database management in multiple systems.
Secures financial information by completing database backups and keeping
information confidential.
Review and balance internal accounts, analyze variances, prepare appropriate
reports, and monitor depreciable assets with financial software.
Participate in month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries,
reconciliation of accounts, and other accounting duties promptly.
Prepare and interpret financial summaries and provide reports to management on
a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
Prepare consolidated internal and external financial statements by analyzing
information from the general ledger system.
Monthly KPI reporting
Assist in year-end audit requests.
All other accounting-related duties
Requirements:
Post-secondary education - An Accounting Diploma is preferred.
Currently Pursuing CPA
4+ years of full accounting experience is a must.
Experience with Spire preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel; strong computer and
communication skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet
deadlines.
