We’re looking for a part-time accountant to fill a role in Brandon. This role offers approximately 12-15 hours per week and presents an excellent opportunity for new or recent graduates from accounting or business-related programs. The ideal candidate will have the chance to gain valuable experience across various business areas.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, procedures, and internal control.
· Preparing financial information, recording and reconciling revenues.
· Counting cash and preparing deposits. Counting, tracking, and analysis of property-wide inventory.
· Coding payable invoices and collection of accounts receivable.
· Preparing reports for management of the property Employee payroll and administration of the employee files.
· Compilation of daily revenue and payroll reports for the hotel and corporate management team.
· Reconciliation of daily accounting records.

Qualifications:
· Business or Accounting Certificate or Diploma.
· Previous cash handling experience.
· Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills.
· Experience with Microsoft Excel.
· Possess a high attention to detail.
