Job Summary: The hybrid Accounting Assistant will provide a broad range of support to different groups including, but not limited to, sales, billing, and/or accounting functions. Ultimately, this role will help our Accounting & Finance department run smoothly, ensuring transparency and efficiency in all transactions.
Job Location: Hybrid in Oakville, ON
Main Responsibilities:

Creates invoices in general ledger (GL) and verifies GL codes used.

Tracks receivable and/or payable activities.

Assists in preparation of financial packages.

Resolves and tracks financial queries regarding customer accounts.

Collects payments for revenue streams.

Participates in process improvement initiatives.

May be responsible for booking receivables and/or payables and maintain checklists.

Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Processes day-to-day transactions and related reconciliations.

Assists with billing inquiries and related changes.

Processes stop payments.
-
Responsible for claims related processes that reside in accounting.
