Job Summary:
As a Dental Office Administrator at Crown Isle Dental, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our clinic. This position requires a blend of reception and clinical knowledge, expertise in financial processes, and the ability to manage a team effectively. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in dental office administration, including experience with accounts receivable and payable, and employee supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the dental office including staffing, scheduling, and patient flow.
- Handle patient reception and registration as well as appointment booking and confirmation.
- Oversee billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all financial transactions.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adherence to professional standards through proper handling of sensitive information.
- Supervise and train a team of 10-12 employees, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring high-quality service.
- Utilize ClearDent dental practice management software to manage clinic and patient records efficiently.
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure excellent patient care and satisfaction.
- Manage inventory and order dental and office supplies as needed.
- Address patient inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in dental office administration.
- Strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures.
- Proficient in accounts receivable and payable.
- Experience managing a team in a clinical setting.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ClearDent software is highly preferred.
- Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment.
- Diploma or certification in dental office administration or related field is an asset.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
