Job description - Part Time Accounting Clerk/Administrative Support

Responsibilities:
- Entry Level Accounting clerk/Administrative position which includes, bank reconciliations, posting invoices and expense claims, sorting receipts and credit card reconciliations.
- General Administrative duties such as answering phones, filing, scanning documents, mailing/courier packages and other office admin duties as required.
The successful candidate:
- has training and general knowledge of accounting functions and accounting principles
- high attention to detail and accuracy
- has time management & task prioritization skills including the ability to manage multiple deadlines, determine priority and get tasks completed
- is organized, punctual and able to work with minimal supervision
- is proficient with accounting programs such as Sage 50, Microsoft Office and Excel and can learn additional software programs
- is great with people and has excellent customer service skills
- has self-confidence and maturity
- Accounting and bookkeeping program certification
Experience:
- Bookkeeping: 1-2 years (Preferred)
- Sage 50: 1-2 years (Preferred)
