**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team EITHER as Part-time (at least 2 days a week) or as a Full-Time employee where they can help manage the Office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, managing accounts, and supporting the financial operations of the company with oversight.
**Duties:**
- Utilize accounting software such as Sage to maintain accurate financial records
- Perform account analysis and reconciliation tasks
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Entering bills, invoices and posting payments in a timely manner.
- At this time, payroll will be managed by ADP, however, checking to ensure time entries are correct for all employees.
- Assist with financial reporting and budget preparation
- Support the preparation of tax returns
-Copy your Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables team members on emails
- Provide clerical and administrative support as needed
**Requirements:**
- Proven work experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Proficiency in accounting software in Sage (at least 1 year)
- Live on Sunshine Coast (Sechelt, Robert's Creek, Halfmoon Bay, Gibsons, etc).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Experience with account analysis, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll processing
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively

Bookkeeping for this role would not be a full time position with workload. As such, if you would like to work more than 2 days a week, other office tasks would be needed, including answering phone for clientele and vendors. Only full time employees are eligible for extended healthcare and dental care.
