Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented
Junior HR /Payroll coordinator to join our team with experience in Canadian tax code/pay deductions.
The ideal candidate will assist in managing financial transactions, analyzing financial data, and preparing reports.
Duties: - Assist in the preparation of financial statements - Handle account analysis and reconciliation tasks - Support payroll processing and maintain payroll records - Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy - Collaborate with senior accountants on various accounting projects - Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, and PeopleSoft for data entry and financial reporting
Experience:
Degree in Accounting or Finance - Previous experience as an account clerk or related role is a plus - Knowledge of corporate finance principles and financial services industry - Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, and PeopleSoft - Strong analytical skills with attention to detail - Familiarity with bank reconciliation processes Joining our team as a Junior Accountant offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a dynamic accounting environment.
