Accounting Clerk- Greater Sudbury
The Accounting Clerk will report to the Senior Accounting Supervisors. This role will focus on providing assistance where needed within our accounting department. Duties may include accounts payable, accounts receivables, and fuel inventory & tracking.
Duties Required
- Calculate, prepare and issue invoices.
- Upload invoices in various portals.
- Monitor accounts for non-payment,
- Prepare and provide monthly reporting (Aged Receivables List)
- Chasing customer payment and collection
- Organize financial data into useable information and maintain updated records.
- Resolve general customer issues and inquiries.
- Follow general accounting principles
- Access accounts payable portals for AP processing
- Submit payments for accounts payable suppliers
- Data Entry
- Balancing Inventory
Education And Experience Required
- Completion of a post-secondary diploma or degree in accounting, or business administration is preferred.
- 2-5 years’ experience in a departmental role with accounting experience.
- Proficient in MS Excel and good understanding of MS Office Suite
- Experience with accounting software is an asset.
Knowledge And Skills Required
An Accounting Clerk must perform their tasks with a high level of accuracy and precision. The individual must be highly organized and detail-oriented, in addition to being able to work collaboratively with other departments. They must possess the following qualifications:

- 40 hours per week
- In-office at the Azilda location
