This individual will perform a variety of administrative & clerical tasks. Duties to include support to our Administrative / Purchasing / Accounting Departments.

Responsibilities and Duties
Assist Administrative Department
- Answering a multi-line telephone system in a timely manner, direct incoming calls to appropriate personnel, take messages when required.
- Processing daily Quotations. Sales Orders & Invoicing
- Preparation of Invoicing, Work Order, AP/AR, Data Entry
- Preparing letters, memo's, e-mails, etc.
- Maintain the general filing system and file all correspondence.
Assist Purchasing Department
- Clerical tasks required by Purchasing Department.
- Obtaining freight rates and arranging freight transportation.
- Contacting Suppliers for pricing and placing / typing purchase orders.
- Maintain the general filing system and file all correspondence.
- Work independently in a fast-paced environment and have a strong ability to manage timelines.
Assist Accounting Department
- Clerical tasks required by Purchasing Department.
- The Accounting Assistant will be assisting with day-to-day functions, including data entry, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and filing.
- Prepare General Ledger (G/L), adjusting Journal Entries, Accounts Receivable, Collection emails, cash receipt posting. Accounts Payable including, entering supporting documents and invoices. Resolving Vendor issues via email or phone. Complete payments and run cheques. Prepare G/L Account Analysis, Prepare Bank Reconciliations, and Collections. Communicate with Vendors and Follow-up with Vendors. Understanding the importance of completing tasks accurately and in a timely manner, as well as Month End / Year End responsibilities.
Qualifications and Skills
Education & Experience Requirements:
- College/University Education in related field (Business, Administration)
- Previous office experience (3-5 years)
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook & Excel .
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task daily responsibilities.
- Ability to work under pressure, occasionally and remain organized.
- Attention to detail is important.
- Able to take initiative.
Benefits Full time, Permanent, Days, Monday to Friday (8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.)
- Starting at $39,250.00 - $40,250.00 annually
